My Curse and My Gift

I accept my Demons.

I accept my Flaws.

I accept my Shortcomings.

I accept them All.

I would never Claim to be Perfect,

because Perfection is only a Myth.

All I can do is what I know to be Right,

even if I Fail at some of life’s Tests.

I don’t Say I know Everything,

even if Everything I might Know.

I would rather be Totally wrong,

then put on a one man Show.

Accepting one’s Limits,

is the way we Grow in Grace.

I will Never tell a Lie,

To simply save Face.

If you have a Problem with me being Blunt,

Maybe you should Turn the other Cheek.

It is not Me who has the Problem.

It is not Me who is Weak.

You Say you are Looking for a Coward,

I am Not the one whom you Seek.

I Always come out Swinging,

when the World thinks it has me Beat.

Mentally I am Unbreakable.

My Faith is Unshakeable.

My Writing skills are Unmatchable.

My inner Strength is Unfathomable.

My day Begins with giving Thanks.

HE is the Only one I Submit to.

You look Surprised, You look Shocked,

You couldn’t Possibly think it was You.

I don’t Mean to come off Boastful,

No Wait, Yes I Do.

I Don’t want you to get the Wrong impression.

I Want you to have a Clear view.

This is Me,

And I am HIM!

I was Made to be the Best.

My Creation wasn’t a Whim.

It Might have taken a Day,

Or Maybe even a Year.

When HE Finally decided to Create me,

HE Intentionally left out Fear.

I was Designed to deliver a Message,

Through my Thoughts and my Words.

I’m Sure you Must have Heard.   

It’s Thought provoking,

It’s Sincere.

It Rash at Times,

But it’s what this World needs to Hear.

I didn’t Go to some College.

I didn’t Learn it from some Book.

Sometimes it’s like I’m taking Dictation,

So Just sit back and let me Cook.
