Does anyone Really know what Love is?

Does anyone really Care?

There are Many different Types of Love:

Father to Son

Mother to Daughter

Sisters and Brothers

Best friends and many more

But the one I Speak of is like No Other!

It’s the most Wondrous, Amazing, and Powerful thing on Earth;

To which Nothing else can Compare.

It’s the morning Sun coming through the Window,

Illuminating that Special someone Laying next to you.

Seeing something so Interesting and Unique,

Wishing they were There to see it Too.

Kissing them Goodbye as you Leave for work.

Three hours later, Texting them to see how Their day is going.

True Love is also all Consuming.

It Takes control of All your Senses.

It’s Looking at your empty Hand,

Missing their loving Touch.

It’s Kissing them ever so Passionately ,

Loving the way they Taste.

It’s Turning abruptly at the sound of your Name.

Swearing, it was Them that you did Hear.

It’s Blushing because you Thought you saw them in a Crowd,

Resembling everyone that you See near.

It’s Catching a Scent in the air and Smiling.

Knowing, it is Them that you could Smell.

It’s Realizing, where You end and They begin,

It is something You can No Longer tell.

Does Love Need a definition,

To Confine it to a Tangible, Controllable box?

Limiting its Importance and Power.

Keeping it Prisoner with Chains and Locks.

Love is Exposing yourself to GOD and the Universe,

while Standing in all White at the End of that long Golden road.

Seeing Someone take each Step to join You.

Professing to Everyone, you will each Share in Carrying each other’s Life’s load.

Looking forward to Walks in the Rain.

Working through those Arguments and Pain.

Wishing, you could Take those Harsh words Back.

Letting it All go and Cuddling together,

As yet Another day fades to Black.

with every Failed relationship you Enlisted.

And a Blessing from the Maker of All Creation.

Now, Everything makes Perfect sense

and all your Questions have their Answers.

All of a sudden you are Living for someone Else.

Now, you Finally have your own Private dancer.

So, what Was that Question again?

Oh yes, I Now remember.

“Does Love Need a Definition?”

I Don’t know,

and it’s One that I will Never seek.

Because I would Surely guess,

It’s in a Language

That only the GODs can Speak.
