MORE THAN JUST WORDS

Sleeping has become a joke

and life is like a living Hell.

Where once Joy and Laughter lived,

only Heartache now dwells.

Nothing has been going right

and all good things have come to an end.

You're isolated you’re alone.

Not even a friend.

So what is next

after hope is gone?

Do you continue in life,

do you look for the new dawn?

Or end it now

before it's too late.

It was your own fault.

Only you sealed your fate.

You're sincerely sorry

but that's just not enough.

Only true forgiveness will end this

and that, you feel, is just too tough.

So you go to the one place,

that is Truly filled with Grace.

To see what can be done

so this battle will be won.

You know deep in your heart

that all you need is to start.

To pass this last test

so you can finally rest.

The time is Now,

but starting you don't know how.

Then you feel HIM take your hand

and lead you to HIS great stand.

So you bow your head

As you take a knee.

Through stained glass windows,

the Truth you do see.

That HE's with you all the way

even though you may not know what to say.

Believing these Words will set you free

and everything will work out, you'll see.

Just give it your best try

and HE'll release your spirit to fly.

Truly trust in HIS divine forgiveness

and HE will see you through this.

So Speak this phrase and it will end,

"Forgive me Father, for I have sinned".
